You are eligible for a VAT refund if:
● You are a non-Thai resident visiting Thailand temporarily.● You depart Thailand by air from an international airport.● You purchase goods from shops registered under VAT Refund for Tourists scheme.● Your purchases are at least 2,000 THB per day per shop and at least 5,000 THB total for the trip.

1. Shop at Authorized Stores
● Look for stores with the blue “VAT Refund for Tourists” logo.Present your passport at the time of purchase.● Request a P.P.10 Form (VAT Refund Application Form).
2. Before Leaving Thailand
At the airport, show:● Purchased items● Original receipts● P.P.10 form● Passport and boarding pass
Get your documents stamped by the Customs officer before check-in.
3. After Immigration
Proceed to the VAT Refund Office inside the departure area:● Submit your stamped P.P.10 form and receipts.● You may get an immediate cash refund (up to 30,000 THB) or bank transfer for larger amounts.

Keep all original receipts neatly attached to the P.P.10 form.
Arrive at the airport at least 1 hour earlier for refund processing.
VAT refunds apply only to goods you take out of Thailand, not services or food.
Refunds below 30 THB are not paid.
